Full of excitement and great expectations, the SHILOH 2013 commenced on the 10th Dec and will last till the 14th December, 2013 at Cannaland, idiroko, Ota.
One would think that the location of Cannaland might affect the number of attendees but the opposite is the case. This breaks all protocol of “church growth development”.
Amazingly, the number of people and nations in attendance keeps increasing on the daily basis. As at yesterday, Wednesday, the total number of nation as rose to 48.
There are certain things that are strong features of Shiloh every year, the morning session is usally called Hour Of Visitation (7am-10:30) then the evening session is called Night Of Encounter (7pm-10:30pm), in between these sessions are syndicate sessions for Minsters, Youths, Marital breakthrough, those seeking for the fruit of the womb, healing clases and breaking of Curses.
Also importantly is the Shiloh testimony hour, this segment most times leaves tears in the eyes of everyone including Bishop Oyedepo at times, it is a great proof of the goodness of God.
WORD Sessions
On tuesday the opening session kicked off by 7pm, message was taught by Bishop David Abioye who is the 1st Vice president of the commision. Followed was Bishop David Oyedepo who explained the theme: EXCEEDING GRACE and how it should be something we experience on a daily basis.
His major point was based on th fact that we need to know and understand who we are and the seasons we are in, Acts 2:17. Also how the scriptures states that, “if we believe in the Lord we would do greater than men of old did and even Jesus Christ”.
On wednesday opened with great expectations, the message was taught by 3 of the other pastors in the commission including Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr, talk about like father like son.
Interestingly, yesterday marked 30years that the 1st church was planted by Bishop Oyedepo, He has been into ministry 32 years going 33years and almost 60years Old.
TESTIMONIES
The numbers of people coming out to give testimonies keeps increasing per day not to mention cases of instant miracles. On wednesday night 313 people came out to share their testimonies. Some of the testimonies are:
* A woman of 55years got married for the first time this year, after writing it down as her expectation for 2013.
* A family where their ladies never marries, its a generational curse, three of their daughters got married gloriously this year.
* A woman gave birth at age 54 after 28years of marriage
* A man sowed his only car as shiloh sacrifice, God relocated him and his family from a one room apartment to a 3 bedroom flat, he got connected with 7 importers who give him goods without paying, then he was blessed a few weeks ago with an Honda pilot.
* God blessed a family with twins afte 16years of marriage.
* A lady was healed of tuberculosis, her lungs were restored and she regain all lost weight.
* A man sowed a seed last year, this year God cancelled a 7millon Cedis and other things he is trustin God for.
* A woman gave birth this year after carrying the pregnancy for 22 months(a year and 10months).
* A woman gave her December salary during shiloh last year as a seed for what she wants God to do for her, this year, God blessed her with a baby at the age 49 and 16 years of marriage, she built a 4 room apartment, moved into a 4 room apartment in another area in lagos for 1.3 million and she came to the camp with a 4runner jeep 2012 model.
* A woman gave birth to her second child after 25years of waiting.
* A man was healed of deafness after 27 years.
And one of the instant miracles Wednesday night was a lady that was healed of blindness after 23 years…
