It was a big night for Maverick City Music and Kirk Franklin at the 65th annual GRAMMY Awards, as they left with 4 awards, clearing four of the five gospel/Christian categories. The collective won their first GRAMMY last year with their collaborative album with Elevation Worship. This year, Tennessee State University marching Band also won their first Grammy for the album “The Urban Hymanl”. Kirk Franklin remains the gospel artist with the most grammys till date. He now has a total of 19 GRAMMY awards.
