Aforma drops his latest single titled “God is Good”.
Creating “GOD IS GOOD” was a deeply fulfilling experience, infused with spiritual reflection and technical craftsmanship. The song began as a heartfelt response to Psalm 107:8, a verse that speaks to the unwavering goodness of God. The idea was to craft a song that reminds us, no matter our current struggles, to constantly speak of God’s goodness and remember all He has done for us.
The Creative Process
Initial Inspiration: The inspiration for “GOD IS GOOD” struck during a moment of personal reflection. Psalm 107:8 resonated deeply with Aforma, and he wanted to create a musical piece that would encapsulate this message of divine goodness. He began by jotting down the initial lyrics and melody that evening, capturing the essence of gratitude and faith.
Composing the Melody: Back in his home studio, he began to develop the melody using a mix of minor chords to evoke deep reflection and upbeat progressions to inspire a sense of gratitude and joy. This blend was intended to take listeners on an emotional journey, reflecting on God’s goodness and expressing heartfelt thanks.
Collaborating on the Beat: Aforma collaborated with a talented beat maker who provided the foundational beat for “GOD IS GOOD.” This beat was crucial in shaping the song’s rhythm and energy, giving it a modern and engaging sound that would appeal to a broad audience.
Writing the Lyrics: The lyrics were carefully crafted to reflect the message of Psalm 107:8. Over several days, Aforma refined the words to ensure they conveyed a story of recognizing and celebrating God’s goodness.
