Plans are in top gear as various Nigerian Gospel celebrities perpare for an event which is set to be one of the biggest peace concert of recent times – ANNY PEACE AND LOVE CONCERT scheduled to take place at the grand ball room, Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos on Saturday June 29, 2013.
The concept behind the event is a Proposed Live Concert themed around showcasing Gospel/ Inspirational artist Anny in a performance oriented display of creativity and stage showmanship aimed at using the power of music, arts and creativity (which collectively are a great influence on the youth and society in general) to promote peace and love as positive values in the achievement of societal growth and progress.
It is also a further demonstration of the unrelenting commitment of Annylove Educational Foundation (a Non Profit Based, socio-humanitarian Organization founded by Anny) to Social Responsibly, women Empowerment, Poverty alleviation Education, and various positive development agenda. It will be a positive projection for her and all prospective participating partners on the project (brands, industry colleagues and supporters).
The Purple Carpet event will feature celebrities, guest appearances/ performances from supporting artist, media Paparazzi and special recognition for participating media houses, industry colleagues, sponsors and intending brands. The target audience is the general populace and every lover of inspirational/good message music as the event is purposefully to reach out.
An ensemble of Nigeria’s A-list artistes that includes; Sammie Okposo, Omawunmi, Tosyn Martins, Onos, Tim Godffery, Frank Edwards, EBen, Ink, Essence, Oritsefemi, Amaray, Ejiro, Solomon Lange, Kenny Saint Brown, Bouqui, Halle, Midnight Crew, Vivian Stephen and Nikky Laoye, Kaffi are being projected to perform at the show. There will also be additional guest performances by A-List comedians Akpororo, MC Abbey and LOLO1.
The high point of the event will include the special unveiling of the Peace & Love theme song performed by an all star selection of Nigeria’s finest inspirational Artists in collaboration with Annylove Educational Foundation.
It promises to be yet another proud demonstration of such talents born out of our richly blessed Nigeria with soul lifting performances in an electrifying display of magnificent and splendor.
