Lagos born gospel music minister, Bayo Bankole offers up a brand new single titled “The Psalms” featuring The Bekes. Produced by Ypiano.
“This song is given by the help of the Holy spirit with two commonly used Psalms (Psalm 121 & Psalm 23) to help people re-trace their path to God. Knowing that the help of man is limited while the help of God has no limit.” – Bankole.
The Psalms features The Bekes (Bukola Bekes & Damilola Bekes), who are doing exploits in the music ministry industry internationally.
Bayo Bankole believes music found him from his childhood and his love for the profession he has immersed himself in the past two decades, has yielded rewarding results as it has taken him to several West African countries, South Africa, EAU, and many states in Nigeria. This exposure has no doubt compelled him to learn some songs from many African countries he has visited over the years.
Bankole, who is the convener of the bi-monthly gospel musical programme – “In His Presence”, has a single titled, ”WELUKE” and an album titled, “Yahweh” to his credit. The album has four tracks and features Beejay Sax and Kunle Oluleye, popularly known as Jesus Pikin. Bankole has also featured in many singles and albums.
His newly found passion and new phase of ministry, “IN HIS PRESENCE” attracts over 150 worshipers every other month and has hosted several popular Nigerian gospel ministers like, including Gbenga Oke, Bukola Bekes, Odunayo Aboderin, Femi Okunuga and many others. The Christian community event in the Ogba area of Lagos was put on hold after the outbreak of the Coronavirus.
Bayo Bankole is a member of the National Praise Team of The Redeemed Christian Church of God and he added his vocal signature to the most celebrated album “High Praise” of the Praise Team. He is a man of humility, filled with the Holy Spirit and love for the word of God.
