The 2017 Billboard Music Awards was held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on May 21, 2017. The list of nominees was announced on April 10, 2017. Non-televised awards were announced on Billboard website the same day as the main ceremony.
The Billboard Music Award is an honor given by Billboard, a publication and music popularity chart covering the music business. The Billboard Music Awards show had been held annually since 1990 in December until it went dormant in 2006. The awards returned in 2011 and is held annually in May.
