Fergie a popular American mainstream Pop singer has been recently seen in church for some weeks now. It was reported that the lead singer for the popular band The Black Eyed Peas was spotted attending services with her husband and 3-year-old son, Axl.
The two were married in 2009 and they have been going strong ever since.
Fergie’s journey to faith has come a long time from battling drug addiction to dealing with other struggles. It is said that she was able overcome the addiction by turning to God
In an interview with Oprah Winfrey the she talked about the period she always though the FBI was trailing her.
“My brain had been playing a lot of tricks on me. You’re kind of living in this alternate reality,’ Fergie told Winfrey of her drug use. ‘I started getting really paranoid. So I went one day into this church and I thought that the FBI and the SWAT teams were outside the church.”
Fergie is one woman that believes that it was solely God who rescued her from herself. And till date she continues her journey of faith as she works towards having a successful career.
