The youth section of the Christian Association of Nigeria, YOWICAN has commended Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike for building an Ecumenical Center for Christians in the state.
The president, Engr. Daniel David Kadzai appreciated Governor Wike for contributing to the community. He stated that many people may not understand the Governor but he actually has an accommodating heart. He also urged the Governor not to be discouraged by the negativity of those who don’t support him and promised the Governor for the total support from all the Christian youths all over the country. He then expressed his excitement towards the new centre.
‘’On behalf of Nigerian Christian youths, I want to appreciate Governor Nyesom Wike who according to most Christians in Rivers and beyond is not just a governor, but a man with a good heart.
Wike has got an accommodating heart that appears very difficult for an ordinary person to comprehend. I’m deeply excited by his gesture of building an ecumenical centre for all Christians in Rivers State.
It took the combination of hard work and goodwill for the uncommon governor to have achieved this within his short stay in office despite the normal political distractions here and there.’’
Engr. Daniel David Kadzai went on further to appreciate the love shown on Christians in Rivers State:
‘’ Wike to many of us is the only Governor who has selflessly demonstrated unqualified love for Christendom and we appreciate his dynamic leadership style and quality.’’
He went on to say a Prayer for the the governor and the State and added that all the Christian youths will keep praying for the progress of the Governor:
‘’ All Christian youths will continue to pray for the progress of the ‘project governor’ so God could further elevate him and the State. ‘’
Assuring the governor of the unyielding support of all Christian youths across the country, Kadzai said,
‘’ We want to assure the governor of our support. We are solidly behind him; he should not be intimidated by detractors. We will continue to celebrate him. God bless Nyesom Wike, God bless Rivers State.’’
