Christian Music Minister, Obiwon Obiora on Tuesday gave a bitter dose of truth to his colleagues in the gospel music industry asking them to re-evaluate their ‘ministry’ as some might have begun to veer compromise standards while delivering the gospel.
The attention-grabber in Obiwon’s series of tweets or rants, as he so described it was the question: ‘#DearChristianArtiste Which is more important? The Grammys, the Sales or the Souls? Dear Christian, which will your Master reward you for?Accolades or Souls? ‘
Here is a full version of Obiwon’s ‘rants’ as he shared via his Twitter account last Tuesday, March 11, 2014…

My personal Social Media Mantra –> When there are many words, sin is unavoidable, but the one who controls his lips is wise – Prov 10:19

Perhaps not. Lots of upcoming folks in music ask me "Why identify as gospel? Why not inspirational… Don't you think that's too limiting?"

Now the RTs are coming 🙂 My reply is: We receive "Power" 2 be His "Witnesses" not 2 hide & scurry @ every instance of the world's rejection

The appointed divine vehicle to spread the gospel still is preaching! Rom10:14 –> How will they hear without a preacher?

Yes we give milk to babies and meat to the strong & we should use parables..But the Holy Spirit will never ask you to say less about Jesus.

If the Gospel has never cost you anything, then you need to re-evaluate your followership. Jesus laid down His life for it.
