DJ Gosporella returns with a new song titled 35:55, sequel to his EP dubbed HOLY SHUFFLE released two years ago. The foremost gospel DJ and family entertainment crusader has a number of projects up his sleeve.
Speaking to Praiseworld Radio about the meaning of the song’s title 35:55, he said, “2020 is a celebration year and 35:55 is to celebrate my fifty fifth birthday and thirty five years of living the purpose of my creation as a dj and entertainment impresario.
We have lined up a lot of activities to mark this event but the present situation the world is going through has forced us to put some of the celebration on hold.
We will however do what we are able to commemorate the event which includes publishing a mini biography book titled FROM THE NIGHT CLUBS TO THE LIGHT CLUB: the genesis of gospel music deejaying in Nigeria later in the year”.
35:55 features Afrobeats gospel crooner, Henrisoul and upcoming gospel music firebrand Yoyo Michaels.
It was cooked in the studio by Teekay Witty under the supervision of Dj Gosporella himself.
A revolution of sorts; you can call it a crossover from the normal gospel music with its street sound and parlance to create a balance for all to enjoy.
