MUSIC: Ezugo – Amara Ya | @Officialezugo

Gospel artiste Ezugo releases new song “Amara ya”.  “Amara ya bara uba n’ebe m no” is an Igbo phrase which means His grace abounds towards me.

The song goes to explain that God’s grace is sufficient for the salvation of mankind as long as they believe in the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. A highlight of the song which is also a personal favorite is where the blessing of Abraham was explained to be the inputting of righteousness on sinful men for believing in Jesus exactly how Abraham believed God and was declared righteous.

The song further follows up in explaining how one who truly understands the grace of God can never actually continue in sin or live in guilt.

LYRICS

Your death upon the cross
Has washed away my sins forever
Now I stand in you redeemed
I can say I’m saved by his grace

(Amara ya) O bara uba n’ebe m no
O bara uba n’ebe m no
Amara Chukwu bara uba n’ebe m no
Amara Chukwu bara uba n’ebe m no

You ask me what I mean
That Abraham’s blessing is mine
Not car, not house, no no no no no
Na because I just believe like him
I’m righteous just like that

(Amara ya) O bara uba n’ebe m no
O bara uba n’ebe m no
Amara Chukwu bara uba n’ebe m no
Amara Chukwu bara uba n’ebe m no
O bara uba n’ebe m no
O bara uba n’ebe m no
Amara Chukwu bara uba n’ebe m no
Amara Chukwu bara uba n’ebe m no

If you truly know the grace of God
You can never ever live in sin or guilt
The grace of Jesus always leads to repentance
Na that grace dey fuel my life

(Amara ya) O bara uba n’ebe m no
O bara uba n’ebe m no
Amara Chukwu bara uba n’ebe m no
Amara Chukwu bara uba n’ebe m no
