Fantasia Set To Honor Her Grandmother With Worship Event In North Carolina | @TasiasWord

American mainstream music artiste Fantasia Taylor will honor her late grandmother with worship event set to hold August 27 2017 in North Carolina.

Fantasia will celebrate her late grandmother, Apostle Addie L. Collins alongside some of gospel music’s biggest voices.

The 33-year-old “American Idol” winner has invited gospel sensation ‘Tasha Cobbs Leonard’ and popular gospel group ‘The Walls Group’ to the Memorial Baptist Church in High Point, North Carolina.

The singer who is popularly known as Fantasia Barrino shared the news through her Instagram.

She called on the North Carolina cities of High Point, Greensboro, Winston Salem and surrounding communities to worship together during troubling times.

“Let us come together and do something my Grandmother Always wanted before she left this troubled World.

Praise, Worship & Prayer TOGETHER. I have some of my dearest friends coming to Help us do just that my from my RockSoul Family.

Fantasia urged the youth to come to the show, adding that the word of God would also be preached.

“Please Come Out with your Friends, Family and PLEASE BRING THE YOUTH BECAUSE WE ARE LOSING THEM.”

In 2015, Fantasia’s grandmother passed on after a heart attack.

In an interview Fantasia had opened up to Oprah Winfrey about her pastor grandmother first prophesying about her pregnancy before the singer even knew.

“My grandmother already knew — she came into my room and said, ‘You’re pregnant.’

I said, ‘No, ma’am,’ but she told my mother I had to see a doctor. I did, and he confirmed it.”
