Have you ever wondered what we call the formula that has the ability to produce in you something that was not there before? It’s called PAIN.
The pain of a believer produces perseverance, the heartbreak of every believer produces perseverance. Until we get to that light bulb moment that makes us aware that to us as believers pain is an employee,ย where we understand that pain comes to serve us, and pain produces in us resources and revelation, we will either pass on or pass out.
Day 4 of the Faith Hope Love conference at the Praiseworld studio was nothing short of amazing Creative communicator, Pastor Dami Oluwatoyinbo in plain English made it clear today that pain is the employee given to us to trigger in us perseverance that undoubtedly births a hope; the hope we are talking about is not the hope that is derived from positive thinking but a hope that is birthed and found only in God.
“Hope begets hope and hopelessness begets hopelessness and we have got to school our souls to not abandon great things,” he said. That right there is a challenge that we all have been dared to take, not by man but by God because the time has ended where we put the best of our hopes in man that can fail.
Man will fail you even when their intention was never to fail you. We have to place the best of our hope in God. Remember what David said “My expectation is in Him alone” what about the time when he said, “I hope in your word”.
God is a God of hope and nothing can change that. Most times we are fixated on the fact that we may be falling short but would you believe if you are told that God is going to blow your mind when you get to heaven?.. Not because of your works but simply because you are his? The receptions may be different because of the works but for you awaits a surprise party.
THERE IS HOPE and it is that hope, that we are to praise always for. It is at the rejoicing of the believer that heaven rejoices and at the depression of saints that the turn-up in hell takes place.
There is more in God, more than the hopes of money, more than the hopes of fame, more than the hopes of that visa to Canada if we would just allow ourselves to be cooked, cooked in character and cooked in the discipline.
Donโt be double-minded, faith takes risks and does not shy away from things. You can bank on God because he really is not just a life-wire, but his life na wire.
