Lagos, NIGERIA — The Ruth and Boaz Fellowship is an interdenominational ministry outreach of The Fountain of Life Church, Ilupeju, Lagos, Nigeria.
It is open to people from different churches both far and near. This ministry was conceived in 2008 when it became apparent to the Senior Pastor, Taiwo Odukoya that an ever increasing percentage of matured/older singles, single parents, separated/divorced, and widows/widowers exist in the church and the society at large.
To this end, the ministry aims at providing support to both genders, meeting their specific needs (spiritual, emotional and physical where necessary). The Ruth and Boaz Fellowship also provides a secure and conducive environment for all members where their views can be
freely expressed and problems shared, thus giving them a clearer vision of the beauty in their challenges and the opportunities that lie ahead of them and most importantly, one more reason to keep moving on.
The ministry is also geared towards changing the general mindset of the society towards this group of people and provides a support network to enable members cope better with daily challenges as it affects their varied/multi faceted needs.
This is often achieved through quarterly meetings where everyone come together to enjoy a bonding experience.
The first meeting for this year comes up on the 21st of this month (March) at the Fountain of Life Church, Industrial Estate, Ilupeju Lagos.
