ABOUT ICEBERG
Onasanya Oluwabukunmi Peter better known with the stage name ‘Iceberg’ is a sensational rapper and music producer who is distinctively known for his super production skills, energetic vocal delivery and also the depth of his lyrics which can only be reffered to as out of this world.
Iceberg who has been on several music projects with different iconic individuals in the Nigerian industry and beyond started off his music career back then in the University where he studied computer science and later nutrition and dietetics at Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta from where he acquired his BSc degree.
Iceberg was said to have been inspired by Christain rap artists like Da truth, T-bone, Cross movement, T-bos, Rooftop mcs, Flame, Lecrae who he refers to as his cousin and a lot of positive minded influential artists back then in 2007 but he later took a move further with music when he realised that a lot of people got healed and inspired by his words, creativity, passion and lifestyle.
Iceberg was born in Shagamu, Ogun state but later relocated with his family to Bodija in Ibadan where he grew up and had his basic education till he got into the University where he fully followed his passion first as a break dancer, then he took his music career more serious and also worked along side as a music producer and later turned his room into a recording studio and spent most of his feeding allowances on studio equipment and recording gears which was the birth of Artstillbeats Studio which now goes with the label Artstillbeats music.
He also performed at major events in school as an Undergraduate where he dropped songs like ‘Olori Oko’, ‘Oya lets go’, ‘The king is born’ which has enjoyed rapid air play for months in Nigeria and some other foreign Internet radio stations.
The good news is that Iceberg is presently working on a mixtape and his Debut Album and this is a good time for the world to Anticipate!
