Tolu: I would say I am quite vast in my style of music, which include jazz, Afro, Negro spiritual and Rock.
Pris: Curious to know the top 5 songs are on your playlist?
Tolu: Five Songs and Artiste on my playlist: Cece Winans– Alabaster Box | Kim Burrell – Open the door | Tasha Cobb’s – There is power in the name of Jesus | Israel Houghton – Hosanna | Mali music- All the glory belongs to you
Pris: About your new single FOREVER”released today, What inspired “Forever?”
Tolu: “Forever” was inspired at my Worship and prayer time. I have a particular spot and place where I get lost in worship it’s a common place y’all know it it’s in my loo. I can seat there praying and reading for hours so it always has to be in good condition. And so one of those days, I was praying and worshiping just spending time with my father and there it was. I got the song first verse and chorus and I knew I had to take it to studio immediately. While recording the other parts of the song fell in place.
Pris: Should we expect a video for “forever?”
Tolu: A video-yes, later in the year I should release a video for forever.
Pris: How do you prepare for a Performance?
Tolu: I always take out time to pray and ask God what he wants for his people at that event. Then I have series of rehearsals alone, and then with my team. My outfits and appearance is usually very important to me cause that also is a ministry, representing the Almighty God that he is the supplier and caretaker of his children.
Pris: 5 things you want us to know about you
Tolu: Wow! 5 things;
