ISABELLA & EVANS OGBOI
Gospel music lovers are in for a rare and unique treat from two of Nigeria’s UK-based favourite leading gospel artists: Isabella and Evans Ogboi who have recently collaborated to record a single titled All Hail The King!
Written by Isabella and produced by Evans Ogboi, All Hail The King! is set to become an epic hit with it’s simple lyrics, excellent arrangements, inspiring message and captivating melody. Although All Hail The King! is set for release during the holiday season, it is not a Christmas single but an anthem for all seasons.
All Hail The King! is truly the icing on the cake of a truly phenomenal 2014 for these popular and in-demand gospel artists. Not only did they individually release some truly exceptional albums earlier this year, they have also recently won some prestigious awards to the glory of God.
In 2014, Isabella won the Best Female Artist in Diaspora (Crystal Awards 2014) and Best Gospel Act (BEFFTA Awards 204) whilst Evans led the RCCG Living Faith Connections Choir to win the MOBO Awards 2014 (Best Gospel Act) as well as featuring in the widely popular BBC Songs of Praise 2014.
All Hail The King! is set for release on Friday 05 December 2014. Be sure to download the song upon its release.

Priscilla- I hear there is going to be an official video to the single. Tell me about it
Isabella- Yes, we are working towards an official video for the single sometime in January. We are currently working on the concept. The video will be directed by Uvi Orogun and I am really looking forward to it.
Evans- Yeah, thank God for this great song. We believe an official video would work very well for it. It’s such a beautiful ballad with a simple but strong message, it deserves a brilliant visual interpretation and we are already working on the concept.
Priscilla: Why did you both decide to do this and whose idea was it to feature each other?
Isabella- It was totally my idea and I am really glad and excited about working with Evans on this project. “All Hail The King” is a song I wrote in 2012 and I had actually previously released it in one of my other albums but suddenly the song kept coming back to my spirit to do something fresh with it.
I had said to Evans and his wife- Purist from the first time I met them that I would love to work with him in future, and we were already in discussions for my next project so naturally I thought he was the perfect person to collaborate with for this song. He is such a gifted, anointed and most of all humble young man and he is sure one of the best around in his craft. Thank God for his life.
Evans- Hmmmmm! I must say I’m most humbled to work with Pastor Isabella. I admire the zeal and passion with which she pursues purpose. Pastor Isabella is a true worshipper and those who know her can testify to that fact so to be called upon to work with her on this project is such a blessing. I’ m really excited about this collaboration. To God be the glory.
