JahRise Announces Date for 4th Concert, Buchi and Righteous man to perform
The organizers of JahRise concert has announced August 29, 2019 as the date for the event’s fourth edition.
JahRise is a peace and praise reggae concert and its primary purpose is to promote unity, dispel myths about reggae music and fight against drug abuse and other vices amongst youths.
JahRise propagates the message of peace in crisis-prone areas and volatile environment. In a bold move to reach more souls and also spread the positive message of the gospel.
This year’s concert is billed to take place at the University of Lagos Sports Complex by 4pm. This is to capture the core segments of the youths which the initiative is created for.
JahRise uses gospel reggae music to address issues like cultism, exam malpractices and drugs abuse which is prevalent among youths and especially students.
Buchi, Righteousman, B’Clean, Agent Snypa, Push, Ratata, El Levite and other talented gospel reggae artists will be performing at this year’s concert with Covenant Child as the host.
JahRise is the brainchild of Big Bob, leader of the Bingy Soldiers and the visionary behind the #bingyreggaelution movement.
