Jo Deep teams up with music director, worship leader, and songwriter Folabi Nuel to release his latest single “You Dey With Me”.
According to Jo Deep;
” I wrote ‘You dey with me’ to remind myself that God is with me whether I feel so or not. Many times, we are tempted to let our feelings dictate what the truth is but it should not be so.
We may feel like God has not forgiven us for our sins but He has! we often think that God has perhaps left us but He hasn’t! He is always present. He is with us. He dey with us. “
Jo Deep is a Nigerian-born Singer/ Songwriter. He is an eclectic creative and performer who uses music to share the truth he has learned. He loves to share the heart behind his songs with everyone who dares to know.
Lyrics
I know your words weigh more than feelings
when I don’t feel you
I’ll sing till every part of me sings
You dey with me
I know your words weigh more than feelings
when I don’t feel you
I’ll sing till every part of me sings
You dey with me
You dey with me
You dey with me
You dey with me
You dey with me
God my heart knows
You never leave me alone
so the days when my feelings don’t flow
I’ll still hold on to all that I know
I’ll sing till every part of me sings
You dey with me
You dey with me
You dey with me
You dey with me
You dey with me
You dey with me
You dey with me
You dey with me
You dey with me
Oh oh oh oh oh
I’ll be dancing in the middle of the fire
Oh oh oh oh oh
I’ll be walking on water with Jesus
Oh oh oh oh oh
I’ll be dancing in the middle of the fire
Oh oh oh oh oh
I’ll be walking on water with Jesus
Oh oh oh oh oh
I’ll be dancing in the middle of the fire
Oh oh oh oh oh
I’ll be walking on water with Jesus
Oh oh oh oh oh
I’ll be dancing in the middle of the fire
Oh oh oh oh oh
I’ll be walking on water with Jesus!!
You dey with me
You dey with me
You dey with me
You dey with me
You dey with me
You dey with me
You dey with me
You dey with me
On the water water walking now
You dey with me
In the fire fire dancing ‘cos
You dey with me
On the water water walking now
You dey with me
In the fire fire dancing ‘cos
You dey with me
