Meet Panam Percy Paul
A Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose musical career spans 40 years. He was born to Major Paul Harley, an officer in the Nigerian Army, and composer Paulina Paul Mokungah in 1957. Both of his parents are of the Lutheran Church. Paul’s kind of music is praise and worship styled in the feel of country music and African high life.
Panam Percy Paul started his musical career at age twenty while he was still in school as an undergraduate in the Kaduna State Polytechnic. And while he still in the pursuit of his career, he got a job with Radio ELWA Christian Communications as a production supervisor and engineer.
Panam, apart from music has written a book titled “Bring Down the Glory” named after his Bring Down the Glory album. He also has a college called the “Panam College of Music Ministry” in Jos, Plateau state of Nigeria. His record label Panam Music World also serves as an organization to assist the education of musicians.
Meet Evangelist Dr. Bola Are
Born on the 1st of October into the family of Elder & Mrs. T. A. Babayomi. She hails from Erio in Ekiti State Nigeria. She attended C.A.C Primary School in Erio Ekiti and her Secondary School at C.A.C Grammar School Efon Alaaye (Caposto).
She also studied Accounting at Ibadan Polytechnic. She obtained her Doctorate degree in Music in July 1985 at St. John’s University, Missouri U.S.A. Bola was gifted and brilliant. She started singing from the age of two and the power of God was greatly upon her even from the incipient stage of her life. She was brought up by four major prophets in Christ Apostolic Church – Apostle Ayodele Babalola, Prophet Babajide, Prophet Akande and Prophet T.O. Obadare. She spends most of her youthful time on the mountain and gets her inspiration directly from the Holy Spirit.
She founded Bola & Her Spiritual Singers in 1973 and produced her 1st musical album in August 1977 titled “Baba Ku’se.” She has seventy albums to her credit. She got married in 1977 to Pastor J.O. Are(of blessed memory), a banker and a native of Owo in Ondo State. Bola Are has taken the gospel of Jesus Christ across the world through her singing ministry. She is blessed with Children.
Meet Pastor Wale Adenuga
Pastor Wale Adenuga is best known for songwriting and leading worship. His songs like Today O, You alone are worthy Lord, It is you, Lord because of me have become favourite praise and worship songs in many churches the world over. His group, Fountain of Praise which he heads has recorded several albums and that in concert with renowned worship leaders such as Lenny Leblanc, Bob Fitts and David Baroni.
Fountain of Praise also hosts Worship for Change concerts which has helped to raise over $70,000 for orphans and children with special needs in Nigeria. Currently, Wale pastors Jubilee Christian Centre, a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
Meet Mike Abdul
Mike Abdul has made his mark as a songwriter, singer and music producer. He has either written, contributed to or sang in the following hits: Igwe, Kene Jesu, Morire, Atobiju, So Good, So Worthy, Yin Baba, Kabio-o-si, This Fuji Thing, Next Fuji Thing, Surulere, Your Majesty, Durotimi, Jenifa, E Gimme Money, No Evil and eighty other songs.
Mike has worked with several Nigerian based gospel and secular artists and producers including FLO, Wole Oni, Mr Daz, BOUQUI, SheyMan, Rotimi Akinfenwa, Helen Paul, K-solo, Obiwon, Blaque Jersey, Tim Godfrey, Nomoreloss, Dekunle Fuji, SammY-Young, 1stBon, MoniQue, Rooftop MCs, Midnight Crew, Rasqie and several fantastic others, making him the most featured Nigerian based gospel artist ever.
His work with Midnight Crew and other gospel music greats has taken him to many nations, enjoying several enviable platforms, media presence, awards and recognition across borders. Michael’s solo debut album was released in December 2013 and has since received rave reviews. Many describe him as creative, even he has this to say of himself, “I am made in Heaven, formed in the image of THE ORACLE that created the earth and organized its complexities.
