Christian Hip Hop legend and Reach Records boss Lecrae has announced his plans to release his seventh studio album branded “Anomaly” this August. The rapper shared this information via hand written messages using Twitter and instagram platforms.

The tweets also caught the attention of NFL defensive end Justin Tuck and NBA point guard Jeremy Lin who in turn composed their #anomaly tweets.

Anomaly will serve as the follow-up to Lecrae’s 2012 release, Gravity, which has sold more than 100,000 copies. The critically acclaimed project won the Best Gospel Album Grammy in 2013.
