Mike Chandler wins the coveted 32nd Annual Stellar Award for Gospel Announcer Of The Year as host of his nationally syndicated morning show, Mike Chandler & Friends. Chandler’s local radio station, WFMI-FM was also nominated for a Stellar Award for Radio Station Of The Year (Large Market).
Mike Chandler is a 30-year broadcasting veteran and entrepreneur. He is Managing Partner of Virginia Beach, Virginia based WFMI-FM and CEO of Musical Soul Food Radio Network (MSF). MSF is a multi-media content provider that primarily targets African-American and urban consumers with family friendly content.
This is the first Stellar Award for The Mike Chandler & Friends Show and the 4th Stellar Award win for WFMI-FM. The 32nd annual Stellar Awards took place at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. The gospel music award show airs Sunday April 9th at 6, 8 and 11 PM [EST] on the TV One cable network.
