Paul said, “For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” – 1 Corinthians 2:2.
He “…made us SUFFICIENT as ministers of the New Covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” – 2 Corinthians 3:6.
You’re not a minister of the Spirit, SUFFICIENT to render eternally valuable Help until you can let people look into the mirror, (scriptures), with unveiled hearts.
No matter how pimped, and branded up you’ve become, you’re not a minister of the Spirit, if your gospel is centered on materialism, self-help motivation, and ambitions, (these things which are not bad in themselves). Jesus NEVER taught us to lay treasure on earth.
You’re not a minister of the Spirit, if you’re not leading people to repentance, and holding them up to the high standards of GOD, especially as it now is in Grace.
In the OT, if you commit the act, you’re guilty.
In the NT, if you think on it in your mind, even without having done it, you’re guilty.
That’s how the standard of LOVE is higher than the standard of LAW.
A veil always covers peoples hearts when we attempt to teach blessings, power, success, morality etc, without them knowing the relevance and priority of relationship with Jesus the Christ.
It is only as we turn to Christ that the veil is stripped off.
And we can see most of what the world celebrates for what they truly are; VANITY UPON VANITY, ALL IS VANITY.
Until We Come To The Unity Of Faith
