Effective prayer is cooperating with GOD’S willingness, and not appealing to HIS reluctance.
Jesus came to show us how to pray, putting “…THY Kingdom come,” and “…THY will be done”, BEFORE,”…give us this day our daily bread”. When He went to the garden of Gethsemane, HE demonstrated that it doesn’t matter how long or hard you pray, if you’re not praying the Will of the FATHER, you may just be sweating for NOTHING.
If Jesus the Christ, travailed all night, and droplets of His sweat became like blood, yet nothing happened, until He SACRIFICED HIS DESIRE FOR THE FATHER’S, can we His body, be praying our ambitions, and pleasures, attempting also to bribe HIM with the offering of Cain, and hope HE will hear us?
The Spirit knows the mind of the FATHER.
Praying in the Spirit IS NOT SO MUCH AS SPEAKING IN tongues, BUT PRAYING THE WILL OF the FATHER.
How have you been praying, in spirit and in truth, or in the flesh; consumed by your own ambition, desire, or pleasures?
It’s easier to tell GOD what to do than to wait on GOD for what to do.
The difference between the two, is why you’re fulfilled in life, or not.
GOD does care about our desires, but HE emphatically commanded us to seek first/paramount/above all else, HIS Kingdom, and HIS righteousness.
