This song (Trust Me) is a response to a question the Lord asked me during my time of prayer.
On that day, I prayed and asked the Lord to use me to do mighty things for Him, then He asked me ‘Can I trust you with my glory?’
I thought about this deeply and my reply was ‘Yes Lord, you can trust me because I trust you. I rely on you to help me to do what will protect your glory and honour. I trust you to help me not to bring shame to your name by virtue of the misuse of my gift.’
That is the story behind the song. I desire that people will make themselves available for God to use them. Also, for them to realise that the One who calls, is the One who enables for the task. So, there should be no fear of failure as long as they rely on His grace.
Some parts of the song are in pidgin English which is popular in Nigeria but it is easy to understand.
