BY GRACE ALONE was formed by Lead Vocalist / Keyboardist Ryan Jacobs Parker and Instrumental Lead Guitar solo artist Gary Bailey in the summer of 2016. The duo originally were writing songs to present to Mary Mary and other major Christian Artists.
The songs Ryan and Gary were writing and recording sounded so good that they realised that there was definitely a musical “chemistry” between them. They decided to start seeking out musicians to form the ultimate Christian band…enter Erek McFadden! Erek actually is a worship leader of Erek McFadden and The Praise Alliance. But a chance meeting with Erek and Gary at a awards ceremony, both musicians realised they shared alot in common. Originally Erek asked Gary to do some session guitar work for his gospel group but when Gary told Erek he was looking for a drummer , Erek said he IS a drummer!! Bassist Myles Collier has toured the world with many gospel and jazz artists. Myles, Ryan, Erek and Gary decided immediately after the first rehearsal that they should work together… BY GRACE ALONE .
