Akande Jacobs (Jakes) is a Writer, Vocalist, Music Producer, Metallurgical and Material Engineer, Mix and Mastering Engineer, Networking Engineer, Pastor and Multi-Instrumentalist.
He is the fourth and first son of a family of 5 and is the Founder of Jakes and the Announcemen, a contemporary gospel music group consisting of seasoned worshippers from different denominations.
Although not a gospel artist, Jakes believe his music is spiritual to the intent that men remember and acknowledge their Creator.
He is also a member of the Music Network “News”. The song “I believe” keeps the Christian confession consistent with the word irrespective of prevailing situation and challenges.
