The song titled: “Taken Away” is a song for the season that reminds us of the victory that we have in Jesus even through difficult times such as these. A joyful and energetic song that brings our minds back to the goodness of God and how he has taken away our shame and pain.
Mfon Idemudia started out as a shy kid-singer in a church choir. While in the University (Université Nationale du Bénin), she joined the University Band and also became the lead singer in several bands.
She was signed to sing at Bénin Sheraton Hotel, and then signed to sing in Dubai for three years. After which she came back to Nigeria with her debut album titled ‘Life’. She has since released a single titled ‘Nigeria’ and another album called ‘Brand New Page’.
Mfon is a songwriter, composer, guitarist and music producer. She sings in English, French, Efik, Ibibio, Yoruba, as well as in Fon and Ewe (dialects of Benin Republic). MFON wrote her first song at the age of 9, and since then has composed a lot of songs that have not been recorded yet.
Within the period of her entrance into the music scene, Mfon has featured prominently in several concerts, festivals and events in Nigeria, Africa, Asia, Europe and America. She has also ministered in several Churches and Church events all over the world.
She has an undying passion for the Church of Jesus Christ all over the world and for souls.
She is currently the Co-Pastor of Tower of Refuge Church Int’l Geneva, Switzerland where her Husband, Pastor Ed Idemudia is the Senior Pastor. They are blessed with 5 wonderful children and many spiritual children.
