Ghanaian contemporary gospel singer/songwriter Nana Yaw Boakye has finally rebranded to M.O.G and looks forward to make a lot of impact with his brand reformation.
M.O.G is a minister of worship and praise; a true psalmist who is well-known to be the minister whose voice and image embodies the presence of the Lord.
Here is a single titled “My Story” off his debut album “New Wine” released in 2013.
ABOUT M.O.G
Nana Yaw Boakye’’ who is now referred to as ‘’M.O.G’’ is one of the most gifted and versatile young contemporary gospel artistes making waves on the Ghanaian gospel scene. He was a member of Cwesi Oteng’s music team (Flo’Riva Inc.,) and iconic contemporary Ghanaian gospel choir, Harbour City Mass Choir, hitherto being ordained as a music pastor at the Royal House Chapel International church in 2012 where he directs a 700-man mass choir.
MOG is a creative songwriter and singer with seemingly flawless vocal delivery and infectious anointing. He has shared the stage with renowned gospel musicians include Dr. Ron Kenoly, Cwesi Oteng, Pastor Uche Agu(Double Double), Danny Nettey, Nii Okai, , Joe Mettle, etc…
In 2012, he assembled a young team of musicians including Cwesi Oteng’s Mercy Project album-recording band Fusion, his former music team members in Flo’Riva Inc and a number of guest singers including his wife and instrumentalists to record a masterpiece of an album, his debut ‘New Wine” album.
The album was released in 2013 featured Cwesi Oteng, Lerato (South Africa) and Francis Amo. With popular singles like Holy Spirit Come, Amazing Love and M’ahyenkwa (My Saviour), M.O.G earned nomination for best contemporary gospel album at the 2014 Africa Gospel Music Awards and worthy recognition at the Ghana Gospel Music Awards in 2013.
M.O.G (Man of God) is currently working in the studio and looking forward to releasing a couple of singles before the live recording of his next project early 2015.
