ABOUT CHANELLE
Kicking off in 1998, the beautiful ebony skinned singer alongside Angel Taylor and Terri Brown were the original members of the group, Trinitee 5: 7, which was marketed as a gospel alternative to R&B girl groups such as Destiny’s child and TLC.
With numerous awards including multiple Grammy award nominations; albums such as the self titled “Trinitee 5:7”, “Spiritual Love” , “The Kiss”, “T57” and hit singles such as “God’s Grace”, “Hola”, “My Body”, “Listen”, “Bring Your Praise” and more, the group’s career has spanned over 15 years and still counting.
Working with top music greats such as R-Kelly, Kirk Franklin, JMoss and now signed to Spirit Rising Music, the gospel division of Mathew Knowles (Beyonce’s Dad) record label, Trinitee 5: 7 show no signs of slowing down, despite the recent adjustment of the group to a duo consisting of Chanelle and Angel.
You can also download the Praiseworld Radio mobile app on your Smartphone.
Thanks to Alexander Oturu (Nikki’s husband), who set up the interview with Chanelle.
