When you see two Icons in a picture together, there’s gotta be something cooking. Today 14th June 2017, Kirk Franklin shared this on his Instagram page hinting a duo between himself and anointed Gospel music minister; Pastor Marvin sapp.
He stated:

God loaned me a song for his new album??
Can’t wait for you to hear! #FYS”
In January Kirk Franklin released his latest new single “My World Needs You” a song that speaks about the social injustices happening around the world today and calling upon God to bring strength in time of hardships.
Despite being in the music scene for over a decade, Kirk is showing no signs of stopping as he continues to tear walls down releasing top notch quality music and work with the best of the best.
Pastor Marvin Sapp has also just released his newest single “Close” on the 10th of June 2017 and is also showing no signs of taking a break, hence his partnership with Kirk Franklin.
We patiently wait for the duo between these two generals and we cannot wait to hear it!!
Franklin was also nominated for four GRAMMY® Awards this year including Best Gospel Album for LOSING MY RELIGION, Best Gospel Performance/Song as a songwriter for Tamela Mann’s “God Provides”, Best Rap/Sung Performance and Best Rap Song for Kanye West’s “Ultralight Beam”, which he is featured on.
He continues to give back with charitable organizations and recently hosted a benefit concert on Thursday, January 12th, 2017 in Haiti, headlining Giving Hearts with Love’s “Rise Up for Haiti” . He has also worked with The Expectations Project, a non-profit organization that sheds light on education inequality.
