The African Gospel Music & Media Awards took place on the 3rd of June. The event which took place in the United Kingdom hosted a whole load of Gospel music artists. Many of which who went home with awards in their names.
One of such is Sonnie Badu, popularly known for his hit song “Baba oh”. The gospel artist who just recently recovered from a brief illness took to his Instagram page to express his gratitude to his fans for voting in the African Gospel Music & Media Awards 2017, where he bagged two awards:

ABOUT SONNIE BADU
Sonnie Badu began his ministry at a very young age, singing in his hometown of Ghana Accra. Sonnie was raised under a strict Christian upbringing, his father, Reverend Agyeman Prempeh
On the 1 December 2007, his debut album “Lost in his glory” was released.
He has already sang alongside the likes of international gospel artists such as Juanita Bynum, Lionel Peterson, Alvin Slaughter, Noel Robinson, Muyiwa, Sammy Okposu, Mike Aremu and other gospel ministers.
As a unique gospel singer, Sonnie Badu’s ministry is accompanied by signs and wonders including prophetic deliverances, healings of cancers, strokes, paralysis, barrenness and the salvation of souls. Christians would describe this as a confirmation of his calling.
