Here comes the first Special Project/Entrepreneur Interview Series. Featuring Entrepreneurs and people with special projects. This is to give people that falls under this category more awareness as they provide quality and superb service to humanity.
This is not limited to Africans alone. However, this will go alongside the normal Exclusive Interview with gospel artists.
Currently working towards a BSc. in Health Communication/Health Care Management and a MSc in Health Administration & Policy at Missouri State University. She also plans on getting a Ph.D in Epidemiology. Racheal started FECA NETWORK based in Atlanta and has members from different states in the US, Europe, Asia and Africa also a member of SIGMA
Racheal is currently attending school full-time while doing medical missions. She is a level II volunteer at Cox Health where she assists the ER Nurses at Triage and ER Technicians. She also volunteers at Mercy Hospital as a Patient Advocate.
Two scriptures that we rely on are Exodus: 35: 31 and 2 Peter: 1: 3 which help us believe that God has given us everything that we need to successfully carry out this work, and we also believe that God has given in abundance what these communities need for life.
After he left, that one question became a huge burden in my heart as I suddenly realized I had no vision for my life. I began to pray about this. I asked The Lord, “for what purpose was I created?” I continued to pray and some months after that I was at home and The Lord showed me a vision for Divine Missions.
I wrote down every single detail but I had no idea how He was planning to bring this vision to pass. I also wrote down my academic plan, and since then worked with that plan as I continued to seek God’s guidance.
I had a period of 2 years when I was stuck at a certain point because I did not know what next. The plan was to finish my education then start on the road to my vision. However, in December 2013, The Lord said to me, “now is the time to start!” Because I have not completed my education and I barely have time for myself, I tried negotiating with him. I thought to myself, it’s almost impossible to go to school, work my regular job, and do medical missions. As you would imagine, I did not succeed at my negotiation because Divine Missions officially started in January, 2014.
We will also partner with FECA Lagos zone on the spiritual aspect. Our goal on this day is to provide the residents of Oko-Baba community with medical tests and consultation as well as give them preventive materials such as mosquito nets, and medications.
We are very excited for the lives that God will reach through us.
While we are still in the process of deciding on medical missions to Honduras in March, 2015, we have scheduled a project to set up a health center in July, 2015 in Nigeria. We are yet to finalize where the center would be located.
Also, we frequently update our pages on different social networks with our progress which in itself encourages and challenges them to not sit back and be ordinary. I am saying this based on personal testimonies I have heard from people who are connected to Divine Missions.
But like I said, it is a phase and we believe that as we go on, we will build more solid and trusting relationships…
And finally, I would like to give a shout out to my friend, Emmanuel Ikubese – Mr Nigeria, 1st runner up Mr World 2014, for his amazing zeal for this vision.
