The award winning gospel musician, Tasha Cobbs was awarded the gold plaque on saturday night by the Recording Industry Association of America for her single “Break Every Chain” that gained sales of over 500,000 units and is gold certified.

Tasha cobbs who started her solo music career in 2010, with the independently self-released album ‘Smile’ received a gold plaque on Saturday night in Las Vegas by Ken Pennell, President of Gospel Music for Capitol Christian Music Group. Pennell gave credit to Cobbs’ streaming presence for her success.

Billboard named Cobbs its Most Streamed Gospel Artist and Top Female Gospel Artist of 2016. She is currently working on her upcoming project titled ‘Heart. Passion. Pursuit.’.
