He performed his hits, ‘All Around’, ‘Friend of God’, ‘Here I Am To Worship’ amongst others and the heavens sure came down, bringing good tidings on all who could key into the sensation.
Israel Houghton is known for his evergreen contemporary gospel and worship music. As a single, composer, multi-instrumentalist, producer and worship leader, he has created a canon of songs that have become standards in houses of faith around the globe. Isreal Houghton is an internationally recognized worship leader, recording artiste, songwriter and producer.
He is a worship leader at Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas. His song, “All Around” is on the Digital Praise PC game, Guitar Praise.
Houghton has earned two gold-selling albums, eleven Dove Awards, two Stellar Awards, a Soul Train Award and four Grammy Awards for his albums, ‘The Power of One’, ‘A Deeper Level’, ‘Alive In South Africa’ and ‘Love God, Love People’.
