Next on ‘The Experience Lagos’ #ArtisteFocus Series, is the ‘Alagbara’ crooner, Onos.
We trust you enjoyed our Freke Umoh and Angella Christie updates… There’s more, stick around!
Now, where do we start? Needless to say that Onos came up stage looking A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. The aura around her as she stepped up to take everyone in a time of worship, was incomparable.
Performing her hits, ‘Alagbara’, ‘Everything Has Changed’, amongst others and rounding up her ministration with her ‘Dance’ hit; we were thrilled and left with hands lifted high even as she took her exit off stage.
Watching her on stage, our correspondences were brought back to that most-talked-about ‘Everything Has Changed’ video and it was awesome watching her serenade God, right before our very own eyes.
Onos can best be described as a passionate worshipper with a rich, strong, irresistible voice. She has been a member of and ministered in several choirs and groups for a while.
Onos recently released her sophomore album titled ‘No Limits’ with great songs like ‘Alagbara’, ‘Everything has changed’, and ‘Victory Song’ featuring Jamaica’s finest, Chevelle Franklyn – all of which are gradually becoming household worship songs across the nation.
She has been nominated for numerous awards including The City People Awards 2013 and 2014, The Nigeria Entertainment Awards (NEA) 2013, The African Gospel Music Awards under the Best Female Category 2013 and Artist of the year, West Africa Category 2014. She won The Best Female Vocalist Award at the Nigeria Gospel Music Awards 2012 and at The Crystal Awards 2013.
Onos never seizes to amaze us and we hope to witness greater experiences with her, so Kudos!
