In a chat with Praiseworld Radio about the new single, the US based singer said it aims to bless the lives of people who are going through challenges at different points in their life; hopefully it encourages people to put their trust in Jehovah God.
“Written in Dallas after my husband and I moved by faith to Texas from California and gave birth to our son Isaac, the song Jehovah came in a moment of slight frustration.
Something had happened to a family member that was a cause for concern. I was in one of those modes where I was internally dealing with fear because I was worried about them.
So I went into the room and began worshipping at my keyboard. While doing that, the words started coming as my thoughts.
At the end of the day, God you always stay the same…and even when things fade away, you are forever Ancient of days.
Essentially I reminded and encouraged myself in the Lord that no matter what we face in life, God is bigger, greater, stronger.
Ultimately, as worshipers, we must just always acknowledge who God is over our challenges.
After speaking with a friend of mine who spoke Igbo, I decided to translate the words of the chorus that I wrote as closely as possible into igbo and sing it that way.
Jehovah, You are so great.
Jehovah we give you the praise.

Her life’s desire is to draw souls to Jesus for salvation and worship God unswervingly in Spirit and truth.
Tomi Favored is happily married to the dynamic Saxophonist Seyi Alesh, and she is a blessed mother of two vibrant children.
