Speaking about the inspiration behind the track and the creative process of how the song came about Uchenna says,
” The song idea came about towards the end of 2022 and was one of the quickest signs I’ve written, however I knew I wanted to collaborate with an artist on the song but someone that could bring a special touch to the song which Asha Elia did when we finalized the song early 2023.
It was inspired by one of my favorite books in the bible and the verse, 1 John 3:1, which says, ‘see how very much our father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are. But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him’.
‘I am Loved’ is a personal story I’m willing to share to encourage and inspire anyone listening. This song is my personal realization, a part of my faith story and my revelation of who God is to me. “- Uchenna
