“My Delight” is an Afrobeat/Afropop vibe that launches with a dance groove that doesn’t stop until the last tune. Its a song of confession of the artist, Uniekgrce’s addiction to the presence of God. In His presence, there are louder, clearer instructions to the life we desire to live; a life of peace, love, abundance, wisdom, wealth, great health and of such.
Some people think that to be a christian is to have so many laws to follow that it puts one into bondage; it is just the opposite. To be a christian is to live a life of freedom. However life gives us too many options that one can easily get confused.
That is where the word of God becomes the light to our paths. “My Delight” is purely inspired by Psalm 37:4: “Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.” Its a simple rule. We delight in so many things; God is not saying we can’t have those things; however, in our other delights, we need to also delight purely in His ways. The more we delight in Him, seeking after Him, the less unnecessary things appeal to us.
